The Masterful French Style of Tristan Auer

“I like to embark on adventures with my clients. The goal is to let design and decoration soften their lives.” – Tristan Auer
With his signature panache, Tristan Auer is one of the most sought-after entrepreneurial interior architects in the industry, decorating ultra-high-end residences, boutique hotels, and retail spaces.

In 2002, Tristan Auer founded Izeu, his own design firm, after working with some of the most prominent names in design, including Christian Liaigre and Philippe Stark. As a result of the designer’s signature style, one-of-a-kind interior spaces and bespoke furnishings result from a combination of uncluttered classicism and sensuous modernism.

Each project that Tristan Auer works on is infused with luxury and French savoir-faire, adding an extra layer of luxury and sophistication. Known for his conceptual approach and neo-classical style, Tristan Auer creates sophisticated spaces that are well-designed. A French style succession, attached to the Art Deco spirit but modern, it represents the mixing of styles and times in the French culture.

In addition to his elegance, Auer has shown a profound understanding of the world of luxury and completed numerous projects worldwide, including the renovation and transformation of exclusive luxury hotels such as Les Bains and the Hotel de Crillon. Aside from designing villas and apartments in Paris, New York, London, Mustique, and Oman, Tristan Auer also designs private residences. In addition to the jewelry box for Cartier, the designer is best known for other notable projects.

Instead of replicating one successful recipe, Tristan Auer strives to create an environment that ignites emotion and is a reflection of its owners. Preconceived ideas, rules, or prejudices are not allowed. Taking into account the space, the volume, and the light is all that matters, as well as listening to the client.
